Joshua’s journey began in his hometown of Puerto Rico, where as a late teen he worked as an actor in films such as Johnny Depp’s The Rum Diary and Justin Timberlake’s Runner Runner, as well as local commercials for top brands like Coca-Cola, Honda, and Tostitos. These early experiences led to a pivotal behind-the-camera role as Assistant to the Producer and Executive Producer of Disney Channel’s Original Movie Teen Beach 2 starring Ross Lynch. During his time working on the film, he developed a particular interest in the Wardrobe Department, igniting his love for storytelling through clothing.

This led to the launch of his fashion blog, Solstizio di Moda, where he shared his personal style and began collaborating with local photographers. His unique perspective quickly led to styling shoots, including the album photos for Calma Carmona’s EP “There’s No Other Girl.”  Shortly after wrapping the film’s production in late 2014, Joshua would move to New York City to pursue a career in fashion.

In early 2015, he began as a fashion intern at Marie Claire Magazine. Here, he shadowed editor-in-chief Anne Fulenwider, creative director Nina Garcia, and other renowned editors such as Kyle Anderson and stylists such as Patti Wilson. He then became a freelance assistant for stylists such as Krisana Sotelo and Jaime Kay Waxman for publications including teenVOGUE, Interview Magazine, W Magazine, and international editions of VOGUE. During his time in NYC, he also interned at New York Fashion Week (NYFW), working with the styling teams of Diesel Black Gold, led by Marie-Amélie Sauvé, for their FW15 and SS16 presentations and Givenchy, led by Katie England, for their SS16 presentation.

In 2017, Joshua made the move to Los Angeles, shifting his focus to celebrity styling. His first opportunity assisting Law Roach for Ariana Grande’s Dangerous Woman World Tour. Since then, he has learned from leading stylists Nico Amarca, Maeve Reilly, Karolyn Pho, and Storm Pablo, while working to build his own portfolio.

With a distinctive vision acquired through his vast experiences and a dedication to storytelling through clothing, Joshua continues to make his mark as a versatile and innovative stylist in the fashion and entertainment industries.
